Terms of Service
Last updated October 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SJ Tech LLC (“we”, “us”), which provides Invoice Sky, for your use of the Invoice Sky website and app at invoicesky.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
1. What the Service does
Invoice Sky lets you create, send and track invoices, keep a list of your services and clients, send payment reminders, and, if you choose, accept online payments from your clients through Stripe. We are a software provider. We are not a bank, money transmitter or payment processor, and we are not a party to the agreements between you and your clients.
2. Your account
You need a valid email address to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, for everything that happens in your account, and for the accuracy of the information you enter, including invoices, prices, taxes and client details. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
3. Your clients and your invoices
You are solely responsible for the goods and services you invoice for, for your prices, discounts and taxes, for complying with the laws that apply to your business, and for any disputes with your clients. You may only send invoices and reminders to people you have a genuine business relationship with. You must not use the Service to send spam, to bill for anything illegal, or to mislead anyone.
4. Online payments through Stripe
Payment processing services for businesses on Invoice Sky are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a business on Invoice Sky, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Invoice Sky enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Invoice Sky accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Invoice Sky to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
Payments from your clients are made to your own Stripe account. Stripe pays out funds, handles refunds and disputes (chargebacks), and may hold or reverse funds under its own terms. Invoice Sky does not hold your money.
5. Plans and billing
The free plan lets you send up to 3 invoices and make up to 3 photo/PDF scans per calendar month. It does not include built-in card payments. Invoice Sky Pro costs $15 per month or $144 per year (plus any applicable taxes) and includes unlimited invoices, built-in card payments through Stripe, and up to 100 photo/PDF scans per calendar month. Invoice Sky does not charge a fee on the payments you receive; Stripe charges its own processing fees, which you pay to Stripe.
Free trial. New Pro subscribers get a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your card is charged the plan price at the end of the trial. Each account may use one free trial.
Renewal and cancellation. Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and we charge the card on file, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Profile → Plan & billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Pro until then. Payments are non-refundable and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods, except where the law requires. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan.
Changes. We may change prices or what each plan includes with at least 30 days' notice by email. Price changes apply from your next renewal after the notice period. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. That includes trying to access other people's data, interfering with or overloading the Service, reverse engineering it except where the law allows, using it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, or reselling it without our written permission. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users, clients or the Service at risk.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the information you put into the Service. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the Service for you, for example to generate PDFs, send emails, and read photos or PDFs you upload so we can fill in invoices. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own records of important invoices (you can download PDFs and a CSV export at any time). We may change or discontinue features; if we shut down the Service, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@invoicesky.app. Sections 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information the Service fills in for you, such as text read from photos, may contain mistakes; check invoices before you send them. Nothing in the Service is tax, legal or accounting advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Invoice Sky will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Invoice Sky against claims arising from your business, your invoices, your dealings with your clients, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
